Primark Makeup

Good evening my lovelies, I hope you are all well today. I feel like I’m feeling fairly normal today, for a change hoorah! It’s not very often I have days like this, so I’m going to take full advantage and try to get out of the house for a while. I may even do a little shopping, but who knows!

I had to do a little shopping in Primark, and as I’d heard good things about their makeup, I thought I’d buy a few bits to try.

First up we have the PS Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette. It was a very reasonable £3.00 for the 7.5g of product in total.

In the pan these look like very nice shadows, and they have a sweet scent. The packaging is made from cardboard and features a magnet to keep it shut when not in use.

I really like the matte shades, they are smooth and you get a decent payoff. The shimmer on the other hand, is somewhat of a duff for me. Sorry, I know everyone’s raving about it, but I tried to build it up quite a bit and it just wasn’t up to much. But I think the matte shades are worth the £3.00 price tag.

The bronzer from the same line is only £2.50 for a whopping 12g of product. And look how pretty she is 😍 You get the same sweet scent as the eyeshadow, and it’s shaped like a big square of chocolate.

It’s a shimmery baked bronzer which I’m usually not usually a massive fan of, but I have to say this one has impressed me.

The highlighter is also just £2.50 and you get the same 12g of product for your pennies. I love me some pink highlight, and this is a gorgeous mix of pearl, pink and very fine micro gold shimmer.

The picture is doing absolutely no justice at all to this beauty. For the price, you can’t go wrong really, can you?

This pretty little lady is the Strobing Highlighter in Oyster pink. You get a very decent 42ml of product for £2.00. No I’m not joking, it really is only £2.00!!

This is a very soft shell pink with a pearl sheen to it. I totally recommend you grab one of these the next time you are in Primark. Very good value for money.

Left to Right, Instagirl Kissproof in Instaglam,Shape Up liner in Workout, lipliner pencils in bombshell & 15.

On to the lipliners, these were all in the sale, so grabbed a few of them. The two on the left were £0.50 and the two on the right were £1.00. It would be rude not to!

Colours the same as above picture

These really stand out for me, they are creamy, glide over the skin nicely. In fact, after I swatched them to take the pictures, I couldn’t wash them off of my hand for hours.

The Pure Blush Palette is £5.00 so the more expensive palette, but each pan has 7g of product. Again, you are getting a decent amount of blush for your money.

This is a very impressive palette and each of these colours are very wearable. It’s also a nice mix, and I love the deeper Barbie pink for a real pop of colour.

This is the Glow Palette and you are again getting a nice 28g (7g each pan) of product for your £5.00. It’s a very shimmery highlight palette and the formula is nice again.

As you can see, the pigmentation in these is just as good as good as the blush palette. I really like the soft and workable formula they have too.

This is the Double Dimension Highlighter in Lilac Dreams. You get 5g of product for just £2.50.

This is a beautiful mix of lilac, pink and pearl. I’m really surprised how stunning she is!

Left to Right, Metallic Matte in Dark Berry, Highshine Lip Crayon in amethyst, Lip Wizard in Magical Metallic.

These were all reduced to £1.00 so I definitely had to give them a try! Until the past few weeks I hardly ever wore dark lips, but after a little inspiration from the lovely @beautybyemma7, I’ve been a little more adventurous!

The first two are sooooo pigmented and slide on with ease, very nice rich deep colours and for £1.00, I think they are well worth it. The Lip Wizard is a little more sheer, but I’m sure it will be nice over a liner or another deep lipstick.

Woah, I didn’t realise how much I’d got until I did this post!!! But at these prices, you really can’t go wrong. All in all I got some really nice makeup, and a really nice range if products.

So who else has been impressed by the Primark makeup? Anything else you think I should try? Let me know in the comments, and if you’ve done a similar post, please feel free to link to it. But for now it’s byeeeeeee from me xx

Ok, I need that pinky Chocolate Highlighter! Like now. Also, did you try the beauty sponge as well? Does it work? How hard is it? Thanks for letting me know!

So sorry for late reply my lovely. All of the products I’ve tried so far have been fab. I used the strobe cream as a primer under foundation and it was beautiful, then I put the pink chocolate over the finished look and it was soooo beautiful.
The beauty sponge is very soft and bouncy. It’s very nice, especially at that price! Xx
