Hiya my lovelies, I hope you are well on this chilly day. The snow is thick here in my little part of Kent, and I’ve been keeping nice and warm inside by the fire. My daughter’s school was closed today, so she’s been here with me too, but running around and enjoying playing in the snow. I must admit it is a bit hard seeing her playing and not being able to join in, but I’m just not up to it. For now I have to watch her through the window, and tomorrow will be a new day.
Being a parent with two chronic illnesses can be a real emotional drain, but I’m still here day after day, and I have to keep my chin up for both of our sakes.
On a lighter note, the lovely lady we are talking about today, is the pretty and gloriously pigmented, Makeup Revolution Re-loaded palette. This one is the Iconic Vitality, and I think you’ll agree she’s pretty, right?
Again, this one is “inspired” by a high end palette, and it’s the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance. Considering the ABH one is a whopping £43.00 and the MUR is nearly ten times cheaper at £4.00, this is a fantastic thing!
The packaging is the same for all of the reloaded palettes, you have the shiny black plastic base, and the clear lid with the gold writing.
Here in the top row, each of the shades picked up nicely, and are pigmented and easy to blend. The second from right shade reminds me of Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and that’s one of my fave’s of all time to blend with.
The bright raspberry colour really shocked me in this palette – I was expecting it to be a bit washed out but pow, look at that pigmentation! Each of these shadows are nicely pigmented, very smooth and apply to the skin lovely. What more could we ask for?
And the bottom shadows don’t disappoint either. The black is very impressive at this price point, but I have to say the greyed taupe in the middle is my favourite from this row.
The only thing I would change about her is the orange shade. That’s just personal preference as I know allot of people are loving orange shadow right now. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to like her as much as I do, but I’d have to say Iconic Vitality is one of my favourite new palettes, and my fave from this line.
So this indeed is another great offering from Makeup Revolution. I just don’t understand how they can offer this amazing quality, for such an affordable price. Each day I’m excited to check social media, and see what else they have coming out!
