Hiya my lovelies, I hope you are well and enjoying his bright Tuesday. It’s so nice to have some warm weather after all of that snow! Can you believe we’re already in March? I know I feel the same every month, but particularly the past year has gone so quickly. This time last year I was very happy, until 10th March when my love was tragically, and suddenly taken from me in a horrific hit and run accident. I won’t go into too much detail as it’s still so raw and upsetting, but I just thought he deserved a mention.

On a lighter note, let’s start with my favourites for the month of February.

Buffet – The Ordinary

This is a silky smooth peptide serum with lots of lovely, anti ageing skin benefits. I got this a few weeks ago, and it’s been part of my routine every day since. I’m going to dedicate a post to her as it would be a bit long winded to explain in a favourites post. Most importantly, she’s very nice and I likey!

All Bright Eye Roll-on – Botanics

This is a nice way of moisturizing your under eye, as it has one of those cooling ball rollers. I find it very refreshing first thing in the morning as I suffer badly with puffiness under the eyes.

Rosy Lips – Vaseline

My lips have really taken it hard this winter and I have to say, especially in the snowy weather, this has kept them going. One of my favourite ingredients for cosmetics is rose, which this has along with almond oil. It smells delicious!

Coverage Foundation – The Ordinary

Another product from The Ordinary, and it’s perfect for my skin. You get a decent medium buildable coverage, with a nice satin finish, perfect for my dry skin. Expect a review coming up soon.

Conceal and Define – Makeup Revolution

This will come as no surprise and I’m guessing it will be on allot of other favourite lists. I wear the colours C1 for under my eyes, and C3 for my blemishes and nose. It’s definitely the best concealer I’ve ever used, and nothing else comes close. I just can’t wait to try the new foundation! If you want to see a full review with swatches, let me know and I’d be happy to do it.

Bleeding Heart Baked Highlighter – I ❤ Makeup

Does she need an introduction? One of THE prettiest highlighters I own, and I love her. I find I can get a very peachy look from using allot of the veining, or more pink if I concentrate mostly in that area of the pan. I’ve even swiped my finger just along the gold veining, to top the highlight with a gold sheen above, beautiful. Go ahead and look at my review of her for the swatches.

Matte Lip Paint in King Pink – L’oreal

I’m not a lover of matte lipsticks really, but this is one of my “YouTube Made Me Buy It” lip products. I was watching EmilyNoel83 Infallable Paint review, she was saying how amazing they were, and they don’t dry down completely. Well I had to get one to try, and I’m glad I did. She was right, they are so comfortable and remind me more of a slightly drier lip cream. This colour is just so beautiful, and so me. Yeah I know, more pink… What can I say? I’m a clichè kind of girl.

Butter Lipstick in Pink Bikini – NYX

I love these butter lipsticks, they are so moisturizing and comfortable to wear. As with all creamier lipsticks they aren’t longwear, but longevity isn’t something that bothers me with lipsticks to be honest. Am I the only one?

Butter Gloss in Cotton Candy – NYX

This is such a lovely gloss, I won’t go in to much detail about this, as it was in my On Wednesdays We Wear Pink post last week. Go over and check out my thoughts and swatches over there.

Makeup Brushes – I ❤ Makeup

These are really nice, soft brushes with wide handles, which are ideal for someone who struggles to grip. They have made my makeup routine less painful, which has got to be a win in my book! I’ve done a full review on the brushes, so go take a look.

Kenzo World Perfume

This is a lovely perfume that my brother and his wife bought for me. I was so happy to open this as I loved the flowers one they had bought for me last year. This one is very fresh, crisp and floral. Unfortunately I’m not the best at describing scents and I don’t want to use anyone else’s words, so I suggest next time you are out, go and try a tester. She’s really a beautiful scent and lasts all day. In fact, when I wake the next morning, I can still smell her!

So that’s about it for my February faves, what do you think? Do you love any of them as much as me? Let me know in the comments below.

Before I go, I just wanted to invite you to join me in tomorrow’s post of On Wednesday’s We Wear Pink. If you’d like to join in, all you have to do is show us a pink product that you are wearing or just a pic of the product if you like. You can share on any platform you want, but I’ll be doing a blog post adding the links of all taking part. I’ll then share it on my social media and tag you in the posts if you are a member. Please message me with which link you would like me to share. It’s a bit of fun, and a great way to get extra interaction.

So that’s all from me for now, byeeeeeee xx

I am so sorry to hear about your loss! That is very shocking and saddening, even without knowing any details.
I have been wanting to try that NYX Butter Gloss for some time now since so many people rave about it! I also like that Ordinary serum! Hope your next month is a good one 🙂

Thank you so much, it was awful and it doesn’t seem like a year has passed without him ❤
Totally try it! I don’t have much gloss because I usually find them a but sticky, but I adore this line. I love The Ordinary, so glad I found great skincare at this price point xx

Thank you, it’s going to be a tough weekend but trying to keep myself busy with blogging!
Skincare is where I’ve always tried to put my investment since my late twenties, so it’s amazing to find a great brand at the price point of The Ordinary xx
