Hiya my lovelies, I hope you are enjoying your Friday. If you’ve read my previous posts, you’ll know that I have a very tough weekend coming up. Tomorrow it will be a year since I lost my love, and it will be a terribly emotional and upsetting day. But I’m going to hold my head up high and remember enjoying the good times.
For today I’m going to talk about the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation. I have been waiting to try her since I first saw Carmi MUA’s video, and I’m so incredibly happy to be playing with it today.
The packaging looks very clean cut and simple, but also classy and fitting with their other recent releases. The outer tube is a nice soft cream colour, with the inner a twist up tube being mirror shine, classic rose gold.
Here she is in a swatch, the formula has a very nice smooth consistency and the coverage is PHENOMENAL. My last stick foundation was a Max Factor Pan Stick about eighteen years ago, two shades too dark and really dragged on my poor face. Yeah I’m sure you can imagine it, I looked like I’d been tango’d, plus the worst eyebrows I think I’ve ever had! This one thankfully feels very light, smooth and feels like it’s melting in to your skin as you glide the stick across.
I thought it would be a good idea to compare her to the Conceal and Define in C3, and I’m pleased to tell you they are a perfect match. This will make blending a doddle, giving you that perfect base.
I’ll use her for a couple of weeks before I give you my full review, but I know people are itching to see swatches, so I thought I’d pop this up today. But that’s all from me for now folks, I hope you enjoyed the post and my initial thoughts on what appears to be a really good product. Byeeeeeee for now xx
