Hiya my lovelies, I hope you are having a good Friday and looking forward to the weekend, Wahoo! I know we’re forecast snow, but I really don’t like going out in it! If I fall over with my conditions, it takes me a long time to recover, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it will miss Kent this time. It’s actually lovely and sunny here for now, so just hoping for the sun to stay! Maybe I should have a singing session of The Sun Has Got His Hat On?
Today I have another Makeup Revolution Haul for you. I know what you’re probably thinking, but I can’t help it! They keep bringing out some stunning products and I can’t help but want to try them and let you know what I think.
So kicking us off are the first of the Nudes Collection, and these beauties are the gloss finish. I know everyone is going mad for matte lips right now, but do you know what? I’m more of a gloss girl at heart! What about you? Let’s take a closer look at the colours, shall we?
The first one we have here, is the very pretty and wearable Boudoir. She’s described as a “subtle pink nude gloss” But to me in the tube, she looks a very deep rosy pink, that leans slightly nude.
Skinny Dip is one of those beautiful nudes with mauve and lilac. It’s one of my favourite colours to wear, and I think suits every skin tone, from the lightest to darkest. She’s described as “a mauve nude gloss” which I agree with.
Bare All is a lovely straight up warm brown colour, with a sort of neutral feel to her. She’s describes as a “Soft brown gloss”.
Here come the Metallics! I think these would be perfect for layering, or using in the centre of the lip to give you a bigger pout. Metallic seems to be coming back in a very big way, and I’m happy to get in on the action.
Lingerie is described as a “light golden metallic” I think that’s a good description for her. She’s that true pale yellow kind of gold, as opposed to a darker more bronze gold.
So now we come to the last of the Nudes collection and it’s Bustier. Described as “soft rosy nude metallic” To be honest she looks to me, more like a pale pink metallic but we’ll see!
Will you look at that beautiful outer packaging? Gorgeous! Makeup Revolution really are pulling out the stops with their packaging lately, especially with their Renaissance Line.
And the pretty just keeps coming! Look at that beautiful rose gold. Seriously, Radiant in Rose is a real love at first sight for me, and I just know she’s going to be a favourite in my collection.
And then the real inner beauty! Three beautiful colours, and I can’t wait to use this in a variety of ways to get some POW highlight going on!
Now you’ll know if you’ve read my previous posts, but if you haven’t, I have both Fibromyalgia and Crohns Disease. They make it incredibly hard to apply my makeup, but I love finding tools to help make things easier. I’m really liking this wide handled design on the brushes, and looking forward to trying this precision blending brush.
From my previous haul post, you will have seen that I love these interesting shadows! So I thought I would grab the beautiful Rebound, a beautiful gold colour to add to my collection. If you want to see my post on the other Flawless Foils, click here. I also got an extra one of these to put in my upcoming giveaway, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
As you can see I got some great products, and I think the Renaissance Illuminate has to be my favourite. What do you think? What do you like from my little haul? What have you got recently that you are loving? Let me know in the comments!
But that’s all for now folks! So it’s byeeee from me xx
