Hiya my lovelies, I hope you are well and enjoying some sunshine on this Saturday afternoon. I’m still a bit under the weather so my little one has gone out with her Nanny and Grandad to give me a much needed rest.
I was looking around online to find suppliers of cruelty free beauty products, and found a few different sites which I’ll be using in the next few weeks. So today we are taking a look at the latest additions to my collection, purchased from Beauty Chamber.
It’s always a gamble when using a new website to buy from, but thankfully this seems to be a good one. I put my order in on Saturday, and I got an email through on Tuesday (next day due to the bank holiday) to tell me it had been despatched. My lovely little package arrived well wrapped, with all being present, correct and no breakages two days later. I haven’t needed to contact them, so can’t tell you what the customer service is like, but all has been well with my experience of them so far.
First up we have LA Girl, and I was really pleased to see they supply this brand. My new foundation love is their Pro Coverage Illuminating Foundation, so had high hopes for these.
The packaging on this LA Girl Inspiring Eye palette in Fabulous and Fearless is a nice sturdy tin. You are getting six shades, and as I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone, it’s great to try some bright shadows for £5.95.
If you saw my swatches on Instagram, you will already know I’m super impressed with the formula of these shadows. I didn’t use a base, just swiped my finger in the pan once, then swatched on to my bare dry skin and oh boy was I happy!
Here’s the LA Girl Pro Face HD Pressed Powder, and I have the shade Porcelain. As I say, the foundation is amazing, so really looking forward to trying this. A little cheaper than I’ve seen elsewhere at £4.79.
The powder is nice and finely milled, soft feeling, and swatches very well on my dry hands. You are getting a bit of coverage here, which will be great to use along side the foundation.
Milani is a brand I’ve always wanted to try, ever since back when I first saw their products on Emily Noel’s YouTube channel. I’m really pleased us UK peeps now have access to it, and I’m sure this won’t be my last purchase from them.
Now you may have guessed, especially from my most recent posts, but I love roses. How could I not get one of these gorgeous blushes? This gorgeous girl is the Milani Powder Blush in 08 Tea Rose, and cost £8.95. Now I’ll be honest, this is a little more than I usually spend on blush as a rule, but you are getting 17g of product, and she’s so pretty!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! As I touches my finger against the pan, straight away I got a decent colour from her. Lovely formula with decent pigmentation, although to the shape, you will get some fallout, but it’s not a big deal.
As you’ll know if you’ve read my previous posts, I’m a massive lipstick lover, and when I saw this beauty I knew she had to be mine, mwahaha. The Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Rose Amour is now in my collection for just £5.00. Did I mention I love rose?
Will you look at how pretty she is? Super creamy formula with beautiful colour payoff, and this is such a me shade. Plus, she has a really fresh, sweet scent which I love too.
Oh my goodness, if there was an award for prettiest cream blush, I’m pretty sure this beauty would win. I absolutely adore the design of the Neve Rose Garden Blush in Saturday Rose, and for £4.95 I think she’s a bargain to boot.
A nice creamy formula, with buildable coverage and a demi-matte finish. They have one for each day of the week, and honestly I think I might need them all.
I’ve never heard of Girlactik before, but when I saw these Cremè lipsticks on offer for £8.29 down from £12.99, I thought I’d give them a go.
The shade Beauty is a gorgeous brown nude with dusty pink undertones. I absolutely love this, especially as the subtle vanilla scent is familiar, and reminds me of a certain high end brand.
Last but by no means least we have the Tanya Burr and Eye Candy lip gloss in Exotic Island. I’d recently seen some products from Tanya on the lovely Beauty With Emma’s Instagram, and they were only £3.00 each, so I popped two in my basket, one for me, and one for my upcoming giveaway.
Exotic Island is a beautiful semi-sheer jelly type hot pink gloss. Sometimes it’s nice to have a traditional type of gloss, and I’ve got plenty of hot pink lipsticks to apply her over too. She’s a really pleasant consistency with no stickiness at all, which I’m sure will please many people.
Well that’s all from this instalment of my new cruelty free cosmetics, what do you think? Do you have any of these, or have any recommendations for other cruelty free products? If you do, please let me know in the comments!
But now it’s time for me to leave you to your Saturday evening. Have fun, whatever you are doing, and I’ll be back tomorrow with the first of my Skincare Sunday posts. It’s byeeeeeee from me for now xx
